There are many access challenges faced by wheelchair users and some of these challenges are often not known or realised by non-wheelchair users. If you get anything out of my video, know that that if we make a building accessible for people with access needs and impairments then it will be accessible for everyone. #goals #hope #accessibility #change
I was so honoured to be asked to preach at Ponsonby Baptist Church for their Disability Awareness Sunday. Main points:
- We are all God's children and no matter our ability God still calls us and says we have a purpose.
- God is faithful. Even when He might seem far away, He is still working.
- Let’s look at people through God’s eyes and let’s recognise that it’s the state of our hearts and our salvation that is more important than the state of our bodies.
Everyone has a purpose. Everyone has value. Everyone has something to offer to this world. My purpose and God-given calling is to SPEAK LIFE and I will do that with all my heart. "Over the years I’ve found that I can’t really help people practically I can’t mow your lawns, I can’t bake for you but I can encourage you emotionally and spiritually." - Kim Clark #speakinglife #bravelove #iambravelove See full message here: https://youtu.be/DmwIaX_vRco https://www.bravelovewomen.org.nz/
My biggest dream is to live in a world where all people with disabilities and impairments are seen as having potential; to live a world where all people believe they have value and feel empowered to be all that they can be. This was the speech I made at the I.Lead youth with disabilities conference. #beempowered #makingchange #thisisme #ileadchange #joyfulalways
